Abstract The problem of this study was stated as follows: ”There is a weakness in the first year preparatory stage students’ EFL vocabulary acquisition”. The sample of the study consisted of 90 female first year preparatory stage students. The study adopted the experimental design. The study led to the result that the experimental group students outperformed their counterparts of the control group students on the post vocabulary achievement test, which means that the proposed CALL program was effective in developing the first year preparatory stage students’ vocabulary acquisition. |
