Abstract The aim of the work: The aim of the study is to review the methods of diagnosis of choroidal melanoma, and the different lines of treatment described in the literatures. Results : Choroidal melanoma is the most common primary intraocular tumor in adults. choroidal melanoma can grow in height and diameter, and may eventually spread to other organs of the body causing death. Conclusion : Early and proper diagnosis of malignant melanoma is essential to save both the patient’s eye and life. This necessitate that each ophthalmologist must know it’s pathology, clinical presentation, differential diagnosis, and management. |
