Abstract The present work was designed to study schistosoma infection its morbidity among a limited age group - school children - and letermine the value of using the prevalence of schistosoma CCion and its morbidity in this group as an indicator of the Ease in the community..This study has been performed in the same villages selected by S.R.P.(Schistosoma Research Project in the Menofia morate. This survey was done by the Tropical Medicine tinent, Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University. 11 districts selected. Our study was done in the primary schools of these icts. All male pupils of the fourth grade were studied, with al number of 548 children.clinical assessment of the students included history taking lly history of water contacts, habits and agriculture ties, and complete physical examination. Laboratory igation included urine analysis by nucleopore filtration and stool analysis by smear and modified Kato methods.
